The natural reserves of Tevere-Farfa, Monte Soratte, Monte Rufeno, Selva dell'Amone and the WWF Oasis of Pian S. Angelo and Alviano with Monti Reatini offer to the tourist the occasion to practice Bird-watching or naturalistic trekking. the Etruscan Necropolis around Viterbo,The Monsters park of Bomarzo, the cities of Viterbo (with its baths) , Tuscania, Civita di Bagnoreggio, among others, are worth a visit too.


In less of an hour you can reach the lakes of Bolsena, Vico, Martignano and Bracciano and the cities of Todi, Spoleto, Narni and Orvieto. In almost one hour and a half, you can easly reach the cities of Perugia, Arezzo and Siena, the Marmore Falls, the beautiful coast of the Maremma and the famous beaches of Capalbio, Orbetello, Ansedonia, and the WWF Oasis of Burano and Orbetello.

Moreover paraglider and hang glider pilots can easly reach the flying area of Poggio Bustone (1h), one of the best cross country flights area of the center of Italy, and the take off of Monte Soratte (30 min).


It's very easy to reach the Capital form Collevecchio, infact, it takes almost an hour both by train and by car. By Car you can choose between the fastest way taking the A1 Motorway from Ponzano Romano and two panoramic country roads, Flaminia and Salaria. By Train, from Collevecchio-poggio Sommavilla station, you can quickly reach the centre of Rome and the airport of Fiumicino. Buying the daily ticket Birg (7 euro) you can also take all the public transports in Rome for the whole day. This is the better way for he who prefer to visit Rome avoiding the caotic traffic tipical of all the big cities but also for those who like alternating lazy days in the country side to sightseeing.
